you'll never be able to remove/refit the pulleys without it!

^no chance on gods earth! get new ones, you'll struggle getting the stud out the cam without causing damage, a new stud and nut is under £5

you got all the tools? don't forget to order new cam seals for the top end (comes as a kit from renault, complete with new VVT pulley bolt and seal, plus you'll need to order exhaust cam stud and nut
if its burning excessive oil have a look at the rear screen after a blast, sounds daft, but it gets coated in an oil residue

IMO no, as i take the view that renault spent a fair few quid on designing the car and they designed the engine mounts to do what they do for a reason (insert your jokes/moans/whinges here)
if the engine was meant to move less, they would've done that in the first place
