Mine gave up after about a year or so. I gave it to a bloke in work and he downloaded some new s**t and I've had it back about 2 weeks now and it's perfect again.
Just watched about 5 episodes of friends on it actually.
I have a transit connect and as long as fuel is covered, I'm happy to donate a day collecting engines/bits from A and delivering them to B.
I love driving and my own company so I'd be happy to.

What do you use to clean your wheels? Judging by the faded black on the first pic, I'd say your wheel cleaner is far too harsh.
If I was you I'd cost the wheels in a semi-permanent protective coating, and you should just need a very mild wheel cleaner to clean them up.

The seller would be mental to do the belts when he could just knock the price off.
Get a price list from Renault for both belt kits, dephaser, water pump, coolant, crank bolt and some new cam end caps.

Unfortunately there could be umpteen things wrong with it. But without looking at it and carrying out a few basic checks, it's pretty hard to offer any advice.
Have you checked your coolant level?
Is the cooling system leaking?
Have you checked the oil level...

I have first hand experience of it. The seats are too far forward from the back of the door. The fancy hinge system would work if the seat wasn't 4 foot from the door opening.
