The Collinites are regarded as the daddys of winter protection, I went for Megs 16 (by PC) over the Jeffs Acyrlic Sealant (which alone looked great). Neither the Collinites or the Megs 16 are as easy as the likes of P21s, but the saelant however is as easy to use as a quick detail spray.

Press car washed by magazines etc hopefully at a guess. My 182 had a bit a buffer mark on the door but not in the league of how the Megane looked.

Looking at the swirls on the Meggy in this months EVO, I hope they are not how they come from the factory.

cleaning and protecting powder coated alloys

SRP will clean them up nicely, the EGP is needed for the protection.

    Harly wax or P21s

Tried all most my waxes on Peugeot Diablo red apart from my CG 50/50. The best of the bunch on it where. P21s Pinnacle Signature Pinnacle Souveran

Gold old AG SRP and EGP work well to.

    What would you recomend??

P21s has a deeper richer look, and the Nattys Blue a wetter look on Black. P21s is also easier to on and off. 50/50 is a very nice product on Black aswell, the looks of Pinnacle Souveran for half the Price. None are rally that good a choice for winter waxes though. The Poorboys EX and EX-p are...

AG SRP will do just as good a job and the same thing as the Klasse AIO anyway Seb

    Harly wax or P21s

P21s is my fave wax on Diablo Red.

    routine for my nimbus 197.

Plastic bag test - put you hand in a clean sandwich plastic bag and rub it across washed paint you will soon feel if it needs doing. My 182 only needed spot claying when delivered. Worth adding in a sealant step as advised, would not bother with the EGP though grab some Jeffs Werkstatt Acyrlic...

Am i ordering the right stuff - PC Q

I have both the DAs and SFX pad ranges. The SFX ones are slightly more aggressive in cut and the denser foam stays wetter for longer when working a product. Tend to use these on weathered finishes, where as the softer DAS ones are ideal for my own car and in better shape finishes. As above -...

    Sonus polishes

Not tried the Sonus Polishes either. Poorboys SSR range seems the easist to get on with as a beginner, where as Menzerna seems to yeild better results but at a higher cost and stepper learning curve. Alot of people like the Megs 83 and 80 route, I like the 80 but never got on as well with the 83...

    197 Cups or Trophys????

As standard the 197 feels stable and handles well, let down by the silly light steering though, can a cup pack replace this please.

What is a proper driving position?

The only thing I realy dislike about the car, always feel like I am sat on reather than in the seat. I am about 6' 4" and can never get comfy.

    P21s Carnuaba Wax

I have only used the 16 as I have a tin of it. That said dont like it by hand an only use it by machine. Looks good though and keeps the car clean in the rain only the back end gets dirty. http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y32/r-jay-clio/16%20Test/
