As long as it is not the aggressive overspray stuff clay is just clay to me. From what I have read it is all made by the same company. If clay is not working alone maybe worth wiping the areas down with something like Autoglym Tar and Adhesive Remover first to speed things up.

MF one will work fine with EGP, infact maybe better than foam. They just tend to absorb and waste lots of product for me.

You can, just set the ipod to manually manage music, under the Devices - Summary screen. Delete tunes from your libary/hard drive and they just stay on the ipod. I have my 20GB ipod set up like this.

Welcome to CS. As for which 172 is best, that is subjective and will open a can of worms. If you want leather, abs, xenon lights etc - get a normal 172, if you can live without the toys - get a Cup. Worth doing a quick search as there are lots of threads on the differences.

Yeah for the unit to work and show the speed and where the fixed cameras are it uses GPS, without signal it wont do much. Oh dear sounds worrying.

Apply EGP as thin as you can with a foam hand pad, allow to cure for 30-60 mins and remove with a microfiber cloth.
