you'll be able to buy the clio 285mm brackets off hispec no bother, mine are just milled down 3mm (IIRC) to take a 280mm 172 disc (285mm discs = £££££££, 172 discs are identical but 5mm less in overall diameter and half the price)

if you know a good auto electrician it is possible to use a 2nd hand UCH and swap the "coded" chip over from your broken board onto the 2nd hand board failing that its £140 IIRC for a UCH plus dealer bum rapeage

factory quality is a bit variable unfortunately, refurb time

on a 172 you'd be fine pass to be honest, if i was desperate to fit a set of wheels onto a car then i'd MAKE them fit, but that's just me!

common problem unfortunately, they'll tell you that's what OZ recommend, but OZ don't take into account lowered cars or i assume the fact renault changed the car between 172 to 182

ET45 is OE, i've heard of scrubbing problems on lowered 182's with ET37
