My car was like this after being reconditioned - i take it it feels really stiff as well? Mines was due to the head just being tightened down - it slackens off after a few hundred miles as its run in. Perfectly normal i think....

The radiator bleed screw should be near the top left (passenger side) of the radiator - if you cant see it it may be broken off though! As for servicing - id say (as well as the above) change coolant sensors, clean ISCV and maybe stick a new lambda sensor into the zorst. Probelms with these...

This happens on mine - it corrodes the door remote reciever so ive had to remove it! How do you go about sealing the scumroof?

Ok, what does everyone think would be the best for my next valver mod? Currently it looks standard bar 35mm drop, has cams/chip and usual extras (zorst etc). For now im kindof happy with its performance (more couldnt hurt tho) so maybe some subtle body mods?

Wouldnt be too sure about putting a 16V engine into your 1.2 mate as you need a LOT of new/replacement parts so itll take it. Id think youd be better with a R5 Turbo engine in it or, alternatively an RSI or megane 1.6 conversion... All should be ample power wise....

Recently ive thought my valver is fairly nippy (chip cams etc) but its always felt lumpy when below 3k and guzzles fuel. Yesterday i replaced the coolant sensor and ICV and it feels far smoother and quicker! Is this just my imagination or would these two really have made that much difference...
