yup, the 996 turbo at work gets through 2-3 sets of rears A DAY!

there's a few problems, nothing major though, electric recline switch on the side of the seat can break (if you have it) and they eat rear pads (hardly surprising!)

of course, but this is a main dealer we're on about here, hence they don't c**k about, in/out easiest solution to give you an idea off the top of my head i'd charge between £300-£400 all in inc parts to sort EVERYTHING

and you call me a poof! he wants to upgrade his trophy - ie replace all the gash bits with good bits aka turn it into a proper machine you fall out of those seats if you try hard enough! and less than 10mm lower than the stock OE seat to keep type approval, way to high driving position, evos...

seats are the most over rated, bigged up by the forums, overpricedpayingforthename tat ever loads of much better seats about

get rid of those gash seats, strip it, sort the ride height, exhaust, brakes done

you do hear a wee bit of clutch slip towards the end of the run
