Open Blade for the summer ;) There was some exposure going on mind you!
Maz - there is one Renault Sport Jacket in the catologue at the moment, is grey/black not the Yellow one.
Had to be done Lee!
I got it from the pitstop place before the F1, dealers can get them in though, in the latest Le catologue. I wil post the parrt number if need be Al.
Al - that pic is one of the better ones!
In the drivers briefing they tell you to stay still if you end up in the kitty, he goes in, and then drives forward and buries it deeper! Sounded terrible after they dragged it out like it had ripped something of underneath.
Got a few moans when I parked it on my local Peugeot Club group stand at the Pugfest show! Managed to get a run up the hillclimb again which was cool.
I think they moaned as it made there Pugs look dirty ;)
You are best of offering a good sealant that lasts, and using a decent polish that removes defects rather than hides them.
Must customers will be looking for a good lasting protection rather than anything else. I would rather some one clay, AG Super Resin and Extra Gloss Sealant my car If I was...
I always dress mine out of the road for this reason, its looking rather stained now after years of abuse.
If applying it on my tyres when prked on the drive use a brush, no overspray, wasted product or stained drive!
Nice shots Lee, good bit of movement. All a big learning process I am finding the more practice I get - the more keepers I am getting in the manual modes.
Cheers Tim - I would have used Megs #80 normally, but as it was so damn sunny it was a big no no, where are the Optimum Polish is as sun freindly as the Poorboys SSR range.
Without claying and a decent machine polish in there I wouldnt pay anyone more than about 40 quid for that.
Skip the Megs 3 stage, and offer Clay, Polish and Wax or Sealant.
If it really is a top notch job and you spending a whole day on a car 7-8 hours? You should be charging 80 quid plus...
Best mates got a Diablo GTi 6

As for a deeper polish/swirl remover scratch x is you best bet by hand.
