Ha ha cheers guys - my concours days are over. Plus I have a feeling from attending past events this will be more on what mad stuff you have done to your car in the modifing sense rather than just getting it eat your dinner off clean.
Royal Sun Alliance on the 182, know one could come close £400 quid fully comp.
Not sure on the daily drive 306 now as it is policy for me and my dad set up by him.
What car you using it in? Place the unit on the roof to see if it aquires signal, cold start up can take a while initally if it has not been used in a while.
I think they can be blocked if reported stolen.
Mine was quite clean, no way mint, but it was used and abused lol, only went as it was costing money, valve stem selas, water hoses etc, and was offered silly money to sell. Driven and low both the 1.6 and 1.9 but would have to be a 1.9 for when I am feeling lazy. Much prefered my 309 GTi, ugly...
Nice one Mark - Not a fan of the G7014 Gold Class Clear Coat Paste Wax, find it a pain on and off, and doesnt last that long. But it does clean and protect in one step. You should be okay protection wise if you use the quick wax after washing.
Never feel guilty, thats what there built for. Ocassional school boy error in a catch of the limiter at times, but you need to be changing just shy of it to have it right in the sweet spot for the next gear.
I had Power Sterring on mine so dont mind that to much. A smaller sterring wheel helps loads to.
My mates is diablo red too, lowered, stainless exahust, filter, chipped etc, very simerler performance on the road.
Its the cup with nicer bits as I undestand, better stereo, recaros etc

Another top Rory post - Sounds like a fun run out. See 100% where you are coming from on the 205 GTi comparisons now. Had an early morning blast last Saturday down to Castle Combe with a Mate in his GTi 6. Though I was going faster through the bends than the 205 ever would it just did not feel...
Is it true once you run a thicker oil for a decent period of time that you should not go back to a thinner one again after or is this an old wives tale?
When i drove Loony's 182 on H&Rs the ride seemed much better than standard cup set up to me. A lot more composed and less chrashy, the damping on them things is superb.
