plus a good swirl remover, such as Poorboys SSR 2.5, and a good polish such as Meguiars 80 Speed Glaze.
Plus the Transformer, Extension cable and plug from Screwfix to get it up and running.
The one most of us have is Porter Cable 7424 Dual-Action Polisher
Easy enough to pick up the basics, effective swirl removal takes a bit of practice. A fairly safe machine to use on whole.
Most of the work was done by PC
Swirl Removal - Poorboys SSR 2.5, Light Cut Pad - A fairly abbrassive cutting polish.
Polish - Meguiars Speed Glaze 80, Polishing Pad - A very rich deep gloss polish that leaves an excellent finish.
Glazed - Cleakote Vanilla Moose Hand Glaze - Polishing...

I would not have liked to do all those steps by hand.
I did the last coat of glaze by hand as a way of inspecting the paint as I went and the sealnt coat by hand and that was enough. All products where removed by hand though. For actual polishing the machine...
83 is Meguiars DACP - an abbrassive cutting polish
80 is Meguiars Speed Glaze - a rich polish/glaze
Both suited to machine use from the Megs Pro Line of products

It took some time, and I did go a bit mad on the products :o it's done know though.
Took double the time due to feeling rough after a couple of nights out which didnt help and slowed progress!

Worked on a Sierra Cosworth yesterday with this problem in a couple of areas.
The PC I can safely say did nothing to fix the problem, a pass with Swirl remover on a cutting pad, and a pass with Optimum Polish on polishing pad , coat of Klasse AIO by hand - Then problem time...
