Reg started M66 - heading into Bury. I was two cars back and had some dawdling fool in front, so I couldn't see much else. Looked very tidy and clean from the glimpses of the rear that I did manage to see! :approve:
Anyone?

Ok, I maybe missing something completely obvious, but does the nVidia Control Centre have any gamma, contrast and brightness options for Direct3D apps only?
On the ATi Catalyst Centre, there was a Desktop and a D3D option. It worked great, allowing the graphics brightness to be increased upon...
I wouldn't mind a touch-up paint for my anthracite ones. Marked one slightly months ago and it niggles me every time I see it.
Maz - change your car description too - it's Arctic, not Artic! ;)

BUMHOLES! :quiet:
The ETA has been put back until 28th September. Now I remember why I tend not to pre-order anything. They keep your hopes up until a few days before the release date....... and then put it back two weeks! GRRRRRRR!

The 182 makes me smile simply because it's so random in terms of how it goes. Some mornings it's like a grumpy old b*****d that doesn't want to move and then on others, it's like its on 199-octane juice and just sticks to the road like sh1t-to-a-blanket.
I love it for that - a great car.

Yep - the MW4 one was good. My favourites are without doubt the Gran Turismo series. Each one has so much attention to detail put into it and the music just matches the screen action perfectly.

This ain't America. We do actually use seatbelts over here for a reason. Two seconds of 'I can't be arsed' is one hell of an oversight when your face has been rearranged by your windscreen and you're suddenly chewing tarmac.
Take it as a polite warning from the rest of us...

LOL - that would have been me then! Sorry for not letting on. I didn't think a Meggy driver would let on when there are loads of Clio RS drivers that simply look at you with the 'WTF?' expression on their face when you wave at them.
V.nice car there, m8. It was actually Jain that spotted you...
Looking great guys! Fancy having a dabble on mine? More practice and all that! ;)
Do Cups not have headlight washers? You learn something new every day....!

I wish you could use your unlocks that you'd gained online - on your own co-op server as well. The tick-box is there in the server options, but it won't allow you to select it. Maybe on the conquest maps (I haven't checked that yet), but not on the co-op maps. Pants. :(
D.
Sh*t m8 - I remember yours being a minter from the RR day up at Padiham last year. Crap always seems to happen to the decent ones. :dapprove:
Hope you manage to get things sorted out. You're the third person I've heard of in a year that been hit by an eastern European truck driver.

clarkie - are there any similarities between your Turbo and the Vee? I know there's the obvious improvement in technology over the years, but in terms of the way they both drive? I take it that the Turbo has no power-steering or anything? Does it suffer much lag?
D.
Aye - I noticed that too. If you nab that first flag (playing as the US) quickly, you have a major advantage in terms of spotting the MEC from a distance on the tower block roof. Quite easy to defend it too - from the few goes I've had so far.

Not tried it online yet, but it's worth it for the new Road to Jalalabad map, alone. A good, closed-in urban map.
Here's the patch contents if you haven't seen them...
1.4 Patch – New content
New level: Road to Jalalabad (Conquest 16-32-64, Singleplayer, Co-op)
New Server Option: No...
Going slightly back to the topic with FEAR performance and personal levels of what is deemed 'acceptable' - I often find benchmarking figures to be quite misleading. Take BF2 for arguments sake. I currently run it at 1280x1024 with everything set to maximum and it plays fine. Try it again with...
Used to have a 1GB Integral, but I've got the 4GB version now - only about fifty quid. You're right on the design though - total crap. Not that things like that bother me much. If I was arsed about the visible lines of a pen drive, I'd own a Mac, not a PC. ;)

Loads of people still mention FF7. My m8 raved on about how good it was when he had his PS1. I bought it and just got bored with it. Maybe I quit too soon before the game became enjoyable! ;)

What games have you seen all the way through to the end and genuinely thought "that was great!" ?
Beach Head (circa 1984!!!) was one of mine as was beating the other civilisations to the space race in Civ 2. I was also glad to see the end of HL2, even though I thought the ending was a bit...
