Try a mild polish like Autoglym Super Resin first and see what that does. Is this the only dull area? As Chris says - to me sounds like it may have had a chips away type smart repair.

Wash Clay Stage 1 Paint Cleaner Scratch X Gold Class Just a hobby - used to do Concours, but have given that up since selling my Pugs.

It may clean up very mild swirls but nothing much. It's only a very mild polish. Its mostly uses a chemical action cleaning action to make the paint squeaky clean. It will strip off any old waxes and sealants on the paint, getting you back to fresh clean paint.

New steering wheel unfortunatley. Lots on here have had them done under warrenty.

No probs - The Stage 1 is a chemical paint cleaner, so it wont touch the swirls. For the Swirls working by hand a tube of Scratch X and some elbow grease.

Unless you can stretch to getting the shuts etc done, keep it blue.

The spray stuff maybe ok, as I know the dealers will scotchgard it as part of the supergard pack when people pay for it. I have not used anything apart a damp cloth on mine.

or Virtual PC when they do the Intel Mac version and a USB webcam will be the only way. The Macbook came with a built in isight and I was gutted when It would'nt work with MSN, I need to get everyone to buy macs and use ichat!

Agreed - This is why the leather in my old 309 Gti felt like leather unlike the plastic like fake crap of my old 306 and the 182. Damn I miss them old Pug seats :(
