Impossible to say if its a good deal without seeing the car. As long as you're pleased with it, that's all that matters!
Get some good tyres on it (If it hasn't already) and go and have some fun! I love Cups. :D
The seats on all clios (Except Awfulthentique - base model) are height adjustable, they just don't go down low enough.
I've got a Cup at the moment with the seat spacers removed (so 10mm, 15mm max!) and its so much better.
If you park facing up a hill and want to tilt a three doors front seats forward to do something in the back, they don't lock and they keep sliding backwards. It gets on my tits.
Buy a smaller buggy.
We had a big buggy for about 2 weeks and then realised its s**t. You can't put it in the boot, you can't fit up the aisle of a supermarket, it gets in the way on the pavement....
Practical parent > Fashionable parent.
Small changes to mine....
As of friday, this is my daily... (Probably going to sell the truck) It starts on the first turn of the key, has a heated windscreen and LOTS of people come and talk to me about it.
Then this is my (Very long, very drawn out, very expensive) project. (Mk1 16v Clio)
Nice little car that! Black, dci 80, tax and mot, belt done... Will be a good buy for someone.
Looks to have been lowered though which is a bit of a shame.
Steering a lighter, clutch is lighter. That's about it though. The rest of it is complete toss
Tell a lie, it's got 4 nearly new tyres so they'll be coming off as well.
Yeah cheers then.
I just drive the two back to back and the shitter drives better! FFs.
My neighbour came out and asked if I was ok, thinks I'm having some sort of breakdown! Lol
That i'm a t**t mainly.
I had a mk1 orion (Mk3 escort shape) in black, it was my first. But I ended up rolling that. My Dads was a mk2 (so mk4 escort shape) but was a really early one being a 86 C reg, so it was a mix of mk1 trim bits on a mk2 shell.
200 bhp?? Good one.
I didn't bother reading the whole advert. Undesireable colour, high ish miles, ''200 brake bud innit'' when it clearly hasn't.... IMO it's a load of pish.
My mistake then. Its a bare shell at the minute, having a repaint.
It was his nans, she left it to him in her will. He hasn't sent the V5 off so its still 1 owner from new! lol. I reckon it will be worth a fair old whack when its finished.
Don't suppose you know anywhere to get the seat...
So today saw my third 400 mile round trip in the space of 7 days, all for ford orions...
I collected the crap one from Matthew on here who kindly looked after it for me.
I got it home and just dumped it outside the park. I'll look at it when i'm on a day off. I did go back to the good one...
