Acidic wheel cleaners are fine for a one off deep clean of a car that's been hammered.
I wouldn't (and don't!) use it on my pride and joy though. It will discolour your wheel valves, tarnish the wheel bolts, make your calipers rusty... Its nasty stuff.
I use it at work for cars that haven't...
If this hadn't have paid off, this was next on my 'to view' list...

iirc, they were 105ps when they were new. It goes bloody well mind! Sat at 80 on the way home from work no bother, and they sound brilliant!

Unless you've done loads and are driving the car on the limit at every circuit, what's the point in changing anything??
Why not just enjoy it for what it is?
I've done it on every forecourt i've worked on since about 1999. Never seen a windscreen crack.
