I don't like Tamora's, at all. SO I prefer you're German choice. Your previous TVR however, owns all!

Dave was recording 9000 in a few of his races. I'm not sure if you class that 'insane' though.

It's not my place to say what was paid for the engine as it was nothing to do with me. Lets just say Sandy will be a welcome figure in the clio scene if he goes down that route!! lol.

Alloy refurbishment Bristol or Chester areas?

Do what I did... Bought a set of wheels and tyres from yate car breakers (£60) and used them whilst mine were being refurbed. Fitted my refurbed wheels, then sold the ones I bought for £90 on ebay! lol..

On Toyo T1R's. If the Castle combe lot could use R888's and the like, then some amazing times would be done i'm sure.

A good friend of mine had a 106 GTI with a Sandy engine, 220 BHP. You'd need to rob a bank to get a 2.0 F4R to do those figures N/A.

Alloy refurbishment Bristol or Chester areas?

I've had two sets done, I dropped them off on a thursday, and collected them nearly 2 weeks later. The job was not perfect, but at £20 a wheel, they did a bloody brilliant job!! Highly recomend them. Yes they may take a long time, but if you want fast turnaround and a perfect job, go to a...

New winter project Wheels and exhaust are worth nothing on here. It's not what this site approves of! Lol. You'll probably get £250 for the alloys and £60+ for the exhaust on eBay though!

What have you done to your car today ???

Tomorrow I've got new headlight bulbs, new sidelight bulbs, new carpet mats, a new wheel (thanks to a fractured one) and going to my mates to sync the spare key. When Russ 16v pulls his finger out and gets me the bits I'll crack on and give it a full service and a Cambelt/water pump.

Op, I'll translate that to English for you... Compared to what you're driving at the moment, a Clio 200 will be great.

I agree with the boosh, that interior does not match the classy looking exterior. It looks like a nova from 1993 if i'm honest.

My Clio 172 PH1 Daily Progress Thread

PAS and aircon delete cost me £12. £7 for a Renault 11 alternator bracket and £5 for a belt. Its a lot cheaper than just deleting Aircon!

    Which back discs and pads

Standard rear brakes are fine. If the fronts need doing it would be worth getting some better pads (Brembo DS2500 for example) and some nice fresh fluid in there as a minimum, maybe even a decent set of Brembo High carbon discs. Theres a guy on here (g172) who can do very good deals on brakes.

    Bristol/Cardiff/SouthWest 172 Service

I have used the following people and can highly recommend them... danlp6 (Glastonbury) Gaz cliolord (Longwell green, Bristol) I would also trust Cooksport as Josh is a proper good guy, although i've never had any work done by him. I certainly wouldn't be taking a 10+ year old clio to a...

Couple of R32s hit the Scottish Campsie roads.

Mk4 R32's are just superb. I can't quite come to terms with the Mk5. Too much bling on it for me I think.

Focus TDCI estate, £1 start, no reserve!

I think it is too. I'd have taken the money and got the s**t gone. I think my mate panicked though and just assumed the bloke was trying to rip him off.
