    blimey thats a good price! you could possibly do it even cheaper and use the OE ecu and get someone like RStuning to map it

    the one under the gearbox? bit of a t**t to change, you have to remove the battery and battery tray/mount (i would suggest changing this mount too, very common for the tray to crack) then undo the bolts holding it onto the box and subframe and jack the gearbox up to get it out

    yep edde - its just stock 1.2 FK coilovers, the 172 engine and box was "only" 27kg heavier than the 1.2 setup

    nope its fully drivable, just a few gremlins in the rear loom (reverse lights don't work and a few other bits) needs an MOT and a respray, but apart from that it goes like a rocket believe it or not edde, front ride height is only 5mm lower with the new engine

    strut could be bent, strut bolts bent, damaged top mount etc there's about 0.2deg either way adjustment std, maybe less

    but you can't change when the engine is "on cam" (are you thinking of a vtec type system?)

    16deg advance (1600rpm it activates from memory) but by deactivating it your inlet cam will not be advanced by 16deg
