Chances are its the laquer that is oxidised and dulled. Polishing will sort this out. If the paint has faded under the laquer then nothing but a repaint will sort it.
Where as on single stage paint things could be corrected by polishing, on modern day clearcoats you can only work with that...
Has not got the power to remove swirls like a PC has. Ideal for applying and removing wax and thats about it. It wont correct paint defects and the battery life is said to be poo.
Scratch X is one of the best products there uis working by hand. Use a folded terry towel to give it a bit more bit. You need to work it quite had so it breaks down. Work it till its almost gone and there is little to remove and you will know its broken down. It's fairly hard work and will take...
With foam pads and compounds its hard to burn paint - put pressure on a PC to try and burn paint and it bogs down, a rotary wont though and will easily burn paint - a sanding disc on there is s different ball game!!!
Like I said a soft finishing pad (no cut) and a Pure Glaze (no cut) and you...
Depends what products your using it with.
You dont want to be hitting it with compounds and cutting pads all the time.
But with soft finsihing pad and a glaze you wont be cutting or removing any clearcoat.
The beauty of the PCs random orbit is it makes it very hard to burn paint. These...
I wouldnt use Fairy as a clay lube. Any good car wash, Megs Gold Class or Sonax etc work well. I use 2 cap fulls in a spray bottle, and wet the panel first with soapy water from a wash mitt.
I have only used QD once to clay as it uses and wastes far to much product.
As good as the results you get by hand, I got frustrated with the marks that you couldnt remove. The PC sorts this out - saying that, people are finding for serious paint correction even the PC wont cut it.
For a good shape car the PC is the ideal tool to take your finish a step further. Its...
There is one company I know of selling them in the UK
http://www.thepolishingcompany.com/
It works out cheaper to import yourself as posted above from Autopia and get the other bits you need from Screwfix.
I'd go for the dension no need to mess around with all those other boxes. It will work on Update and Tuner list 182 headunits, and the wires and two little circuit boards are esay to hide behind the dash.
I thought AAC just effected the quality you where importing the music in, I have just seen its not then!
From Apple help
You can listen to songs encoded in AAC or Apple Lossless formats in iTunes and on iPods that come with a dock connector. If you plan to listen to your music using a...
1 - Super Resin then Extra Gloss is the best way, that way the Sealant can bond properly.
2 - Get one, wouldnt be without mine for a Black car.
3 - Ony a couple of places sell them over here and there silly expensive, if they can bring one back for you you wont get stung for shipping charges...
Scratch X should remove them, but anything more than minor marks are near impossible to remove by hand.
Autoglym Extra Gloss is Sealant, but does contain some Carnuba wax. Should last 2-3 months at least. I applied it to may daily drive in October and its still holding up. I wax the Clio about...
Id leave the T cut on the shelf.
If your working by hand and see some marring and swirl marks in the paint, invest in some Meguairs Scratch X to try and remove it.
Then maybe use your Autoglym Super Reisn Polish (go straight to this if the paint is in good shape) and then seal in with some...
