Ran mine on Optimax from new ( only because its cheaper than the BP though Loony ;) ) Will try the Tesco 99 when it makes it up here tho, its reached Bristol now so it working its way north!
Most new Macs ship with i-chat which works with the Macs i-sight camera, not sure if that can connect with any type of PC software PC software though, I have'nt tried them.

Claying a car for the first time isnt something anyone should rush as you can cause some real damage. Once a car has been clayed and you are just spoy claying certain areas I can see that only taking 10-15 mins.

AG metal polish - AG Super Resin and then there Extra Gloss Protection.
We do this on bikes where polished bits cannot easily be got at during normal cleaning, without taking parts off.
Best mate does it for a living, has worked on lots of the top show motorbikes over here. It's slightly less abbrassive then metal polish, so in the same way as stepping down in grades of paper when polishing, useing differt grades of polish does the same.

If you want to finish it yet finer still than metal polish, apply a coat of an even milder polish such as Autoglym Super Resin as it will increase shine even more.
