I love(d) your car but it just looks sorry for itself now. I know the Trophy purists will be cracking one off over it, but it doesn't do it for me anymore.
And your ECU bracket is horrific.
Mate, its not hard!
Trolley jack, 2 axel stands, 13mm Deep socket, extension bar, ratchet.
Jack up one side of the car as high as you want. Get it on axel stands.
Now that its up in the air, get under it and remove the two inside bolts for the drivers seat, and the two bolts for the inside...
I've noticed on Scoobynet that they're turning this into an annual event. I do hope it remains with the name ''Connors Day''.
I have to keep logging out of the threads because I can feel myself getting upset. So so sad. :(
Tony tone tone.
You need to sack the black t-cut off. It is like polishing the car with sand filled gravy.
You need some decent shampoo, Meguires for example, some Auto Glym Super Resin Polish, and some decent protection on top of that. It will give 100% better results than the black tcut stuff.

Some of the time though, people buy them from the local used car dealer for...
The Amps pack up on the back of the head units.
Headgaskets are weak on the early ones.
Suspension bags are pretty fragile for a 2 tonne truck.
Central locking is a bit tempremental.
Expansion bottles go brittle and fracture.
Front and rear discs/pads are £900 fitted...
They're just not...
You can do it with it in place but its a bit fiddly. If its your first time (oooh er!) then probably best to remove the heatshield so you can see what you're doing. Its a bit difficult because we don't know how mechanically capable you are! lol.
The ones on the outside of the car need the...
You have to pay for it, simple.
You asked them to do a job, they did it.
However, they should have told you (or quoted in the price at least!) that the tracking would need doing.
All mk1's smell the same inside. Even my track car (Which has nothing inside it!) still smells like a mk1.
I think it might be the smell of inevitable mechanical failure.
Luke, please don't buy turbines. I've been thinking about it all day and they won't work on that colour, or the fact its...
I had a Calibra 16v (cavalier coupe) not too long ago.
They still drive really really well even by today's standards. I'd definitely have one as a daily.
