I've just gone through his website and he's not right.
Some cars are in a posh showroom, some are outside someones house, some are in a dirty lockup... I feel sorry for his customers/victims.
I've got a Mk4 Escort sat on a mates drive, had it 5+ years now. Same colour as that, a 1.6 LX! done 23,000 miles from new.
Not even looked at it for about 3 years so god knows what state its in.
Mental.
Its had welding/repairs/filler to the rear arches as well so its not even original. The bloke is on drugs. Fair play to him if he can get £5695 (FLOL!!) for it, but I remain sceptical.
So I love Ford Orions and keep my eye out daily for one...
I found one on ebay. Real tidy. Now bear in mind concours mintey minters go for about £2-2500.
The one in question started at £2150. The reduced every other week for the last few months until it got down to £1800 iirc.
Well it...
That sounds like a lot of money, especially when the parts aren't ''That'' expensive.

I don't understand the question.
You want the best rear setup, but can't afford it. :S
I want a F355 but I can't afford one. Shall I start a thread?
In answer to your question, IMO, The best rear set up would be a single coilover unit, a pure motorsport rear beam stiffening kit, some...
On something like yours, I'd be wanting to change it every 3000 miles/6months maximum.
Its cheap, takes no time at all and does nothing but benefit the engine.
Go to a local pound shop, buy a cheapo plastic container.
When you've changed the oil, pour it back into the new oil bottle (that will now be empty) and take it to your local authority refuse centre.
No point in being the richest man in the graveyard.
Spend it. I spend everything I earn. Whats the point in having it in the bank?! Nobody will enjoy it in there.
^^I'm guessing. Completely!
That's boring.
He needs to enjoy a reward for all those years of mortgage payments! A reward that involves drugs sluts alcohol and sunburn.
Trust me.
If your car is properly maintained, there is no reason for it to fail an MOT.
I check my car over everytime I wash it, lights tyres brakes etc and if there's the slightest knock/wobble/blow/bang I get it fixed asap.
I'm not saying that in a 'Holier than thou' voice, I do it because I don't...
