there was a guy at york a while ago, had his 1800 valver on twin 45s. ran mid 14s iirc. which is fukkin good for a valver.
carbs will always need a regular clean/set up tho, and arent as adjustable as bodies. good enough tho, have been tempted to ditch the alpha and try a set of 45 carbs...
of the new toy.......well not so new now lol.
will be used for thrashing about in and trackdays. ;)

throw any kind of twisties in....and it would be even further behind the willy ;)
i take it your on about the 172 there???
the dash, not exactly aston martin spec, but hey, it gives you all the info u need to know, oil press, water temp, revs, speed, oil temp......does the 1*2 give you all this info??
interior in the williams...well.if you think its horrid, you...
you need to learn your history.
the williams was built so renault could continue their run of winning rallies.
something they havent done with much aplomb since i might add.
so a limited run of rally homolgomation cars......thatl be the williams then.
the 182 trophy, as...
in what way??
the seats are comfier than the newer shape ones, the driving position better
the air con and all the toys i dont want/need.
for a drivers car, theres no comparison.

i dunno.they hold up fairly well on track too.iv chased slick shod and semi slick shod 4 potted clios round places.and not lost all that much ground to the better specced cars..even catching some on th etwisties, but losing out to their higher modded motors on the straights.
ali..u not...
lol.i dont have the 4 pots......i dont deem them necessary tbh, the std set up with good pads is ample imo.
i do have coilovers buckets and throttle bodies tho ;)
the pops and bangs from jons are jus silly. gets a bit tiresome imo, i mean theres a nice pop every now n then, and then theres a mass explosion on any lift off the throttle lol.
surprised he hasnt had the armed response units pullin him for doin drive by's tbh lol.
its not all that...
1...depends who you go to to get it fitted i suppose.
2....i use a willy head, meg valves, worked chambers/tracts. most othes iv heard run with meg heads, inlet tracts slightly better shape to be matched with the round body, ecu wise, a standalone is a definate, which one you pick is all...
wel, iv tried brand new and used willy susp, and brand new AVO coilover kit.
i bought the coilover kit as i had snapped both springs on my oe set up. i tried brand new, but the body roll was still too much for me. the std susp is a good compromise between handling and comfort, just as...
yep.thats the way it works edde,.
even if ur not good enough, you could still get through to the final though dependant on the no. of entrants, and how much they need to recoup.
no no no no no
shell helix ultra.
with the edge stuff you will be getting high temps and low pressures, especially if you do a lot of track miles...trust me.
i only did about 400 miles with it in, oil press never went above 3 bar, and within 5 mins of driving steady was up at...
