Ah just seen this, @dann2707 no mines still on stock cable, I bought the kit then got no further as decided was faffing, adding complexity I didn't need and another system to leak fluid if it went wrong. @The Crumb Master my box does have a welded loop though and then a custom brace as well...

And recovered this morning and back home.

Went for a Saturday Easter blast with a couple of MK1 buddies, had a mint time until the circlip fell out the gearbox and I lost all drive. Cars still abandoned at the pub 3 days later, f**king thing. Lol
