because the crankshaft pulley bolt may have been stretched/not torqued up to the correct setting
non of the pullys (2 camshaft and one crank) have locating pins etc, they're tapered fit and held in position by friction (ie the bolt on each pulley holds them in place)
the crankshaft pulley bolt...
did they also measure the length of the lower crankshaft pulley bolt? when refitting it
did they use the offical renault locking tools when changing the belt? (ask to see them)
did they set the tensioner on the cambelt correctly
i'll bet £1 they've cocked up the belt change and are trying to...
give renault your reg and you should get the correct part
why not go to renault in the first place?? always ALWAYS use genuine renault clutch cables!
they're about £20
