I remember you putting this thread up lad. Tbh you dont sound daft and some of those faults would be easily missed imo. Inspecting a car for the first time most definatley doesnt reveal every single fault the car has to offer! With what Renault UK said to Renault dealers checking a car...

I gather there the same Recaros as the 197's bar the pattern is yellow behind the mesh...? If they are i priced them up from Renault at £3600 iirc a pair
