    172 in a mk1, Superfatdan's very very long project....

Re: 172 in a mk1, Superfastdan's very very long project.... I've got 172 bottom arms on a williams subframe. It did have williams arms but I bent them trying to undo the hub nuts! lol. The blue shell has been painted in 172 cup (mondial) blue. Its fine for a track car, but this is my pride...

    172 in a mk1, Superfatdan's very very long project....

Re: 172 in a mk1, Superfastdan's very very long project.... Its been standing (outside!) for the last 12 months so I'm fully expecting plastic connectors etc to be brittle and snap. Thankfully I still have 4 other clio's floating about and the remains of the last one we broke so hopefully I...

Looked at a dog today...woof woof

You had just slated his car, as a result he didn't want to waste his time letting you drive it, you weren't going to buy it! Tbh, using the insurance was a bit of a cop out. Should have just told you straight! What garage was it? (please say it wasn't mine!! lol)

    172 in a mk1, Superfatdan's very very long project....

So i've had this car for nearly 4 years. I bought it from a member on here, Brad Harding, back in sep 2008. 1993 K plate Clio 1.8 16v with a Hybrid 2.0 bottom end. This project has taken a long time (and still isn't finished! lol) owing largely to the fact that I have two small children, a...

spring performance action day, castle combe

I don't really bother with those sorts of days. (rally day, action days, japfest etc) They tend to attract the kind of people I hate! lol.

spring performance action day, castle combe

Well I never! In all my years of going up there, I have never seen anyone going (intentionally) the wrong way.

    CLIO 182 Engine finished!!

Breaking the rest of the car (every last bit) will probably net you back about £1500 - £2000 ish depending on the condition of the other parts. Scrap is about £120 per tonne at the moment. You'll be lucky to get £150 for it really. Best bet is to buy a secondhand engine off here and fit that...

I was thinking just paint the old ones! I certainly wouldn't spend £60 on wheel bolts.

    Finish Product

Fair play for fitting them that way round! You may have started a trend! All you need now is some new wheel bolts and your wheel/brake situation will be like brand new!

    Castle Combe casualty (pics)

It will crack and/or sink, there's nothing behind it. Which is why you'd need to weld up the hole.

Secondhand bits, repair on the rear wing, sorted. There's no way i'd go to all of the hassle of breaking it, buying another one, then getting that up to scratch. (assuming yours has had the belts etc done and the mechanicals are up together) With secondhand bits and a mates rate on the back...

after little one celebrated her 1st bday last week

We are telling you that because you are tight fisted, that your child is not safe in that seat. £25 to hold the most precious thing in the world??!! You're a joke. I'd say that was pretty good input.
