Some sealants are fine over oily polishes and glazes, eg Poorboys Exs or Wolfgang Sealant. The really durable ones Zaino, Autoglym or Klasse, only work well over a properly prepared base. In the case of Extra gloss it wont bond to the stage 2 Meguiars polish. My suggestion would be Meguiars...

Megauirs NXT doesnt seem to last much longer than a carnuba tho! Get a good sealant under your P21s and you will be fine.

Laser detector needs to have line off sight and not be obscured. I brought the 5m cable as have a few others on here and have it sat next to the rear shelf after recommendations of other users on here.

Agree with Daz on the postioning, the manual goes into about two pages explaining why it is important to place it correctly to allow any chance off the laser alert saving you. As others have said laser is so quick by the time you do get an alert it is normally to late to re-act and you will...

The Zymol may cost a lot off money but, it wont last long or give much protection. With the exception of the Collinite you will be looking realistically at 30 days max protection from a carnuba wax over here. Meguiars #16 lasts fairly well, most others such as Souveran or P21s, really are...

There is wire that should attach to the handbrake to prevent it being used in motion but this is easily by passed by attaching it it to ground if I remember.

I had thet same unit in my old car, will come out regardless off a dvd player plugged in. Mine didnt like to open if it had not been used for a long time, I had to gently pull it while pressing the open button to unsieze it once or twice. It will slide out then flip up.
