Writting my letter to Renault Uk.....

These are my problems i have had with the car since early october

Green Shift Light Stayed On



Speedo Flicked whilst driving showing incorrect speed



Passenger’s rear brake pad was dodgy, was not making proper contact with disk



Driver’s side is starting to go the same as above



Car has failed to start on numerous occasions, been to dealers four times



Car today failed to start, fifth time it will be recorded



Alternator belt has squealed twice



Alternator belt has come lose two times on separate occasions to the above reason



The car locks its self whilst stationary



The cars alarm goes off after 5 minutes of leaving the car locked or unlocked

Thats an impressive list you have there! This locking whilst stationary problem..might that be something to do with the auto-door locking facility by holding the door lock button on the dash board for 5 seconds?

Feel well sorry for you mate! How have the dealers been when it comes to sorting these problems? Im guessing theyve treated you badly and not actually fixed anything?!

Take the car to Andy, get him to sort it then send the bill to Renault HO....can only dream lol

My car also locks itself when staionary. I think its a security thing if you forget to lock it. If I park up and get out, it locks itself about 20-30 seconds later.

If you unlock the car but dont open a door the car will lock itself again.

Yeah maybe thats what I get then? I notice it when I wash it and want the doors unlocked so I can wash inside the openings.

Have you worked out how long it has spent in the dealers as well, youll need to include that in the letter.

yeh 8 weeks of the road in 7 months..... added that to the letter, and guys its when the door is open it locks

mate i left the keys on the floor..... stood back and watched it lock itself LOL Cheeky fook

Maybe your mum is playing a joke with you with the spare key. that would be funny as f**k, watching you stood there with the keys on the floor and then she lockes it from in the house, just to get that puzzled look on your face.

PMSL
