Meguiars deep cyrstal polish is very mild, more off a glaze and wont remove the swirls. I would start off with some Super Resin Polish first if that does not work, look at some Meguirs Scratch X, Swirl Free or Speed Glaze pro oline polishes.
As for waxing the wax should follow the sealant to...

Is this wise on a new car?
Its is advisable on any new car as it will remove any attached contamination from the delivery process that the dealers polish wont have removed. As far as I know...

Vannila Moose is more of a hand glaze, needs to be sealed in with something. Its more off a beauty/look typre product. VM with EX -p is a great looking combo.
What didnt you like about ex?
Vanilla moose, EX, topped with P21s looks great.
For durability during winter how about Autoglym resin and gloss topped with P21s, a better option than Carnuba alone this time off year.
Not heard any reports about it being hard to use, cant be any worse than Megs Gold Glass!!! Never one I have tried myself.
It will be more work than P21s, but It is supposed to be very durable. Alex at serious performance uses it, ask him before you order.

Paid 40 quid plus vat to get some dents out of my roof on my old car by dentsplus. As stated aboue the go under the rooflining.
One guy round here is now using a new technique with hot glue so even double skinned panels can be done.
I machine wash MFs on there own on a low heat, with liquid deteregent, no fabric softener.
Wash the pads in the sink by hand with fairy liquid, cuts through the wax a treat.
Yeah Alex does Cliosprt discount dont forget to ask.
EX-p just apply it to a panel at a time and remove or to the whole car and remove. A few people say the depth is better if you leave it on 30 mins or so, not noticed myself. Yeah just apply like another polish or wax..in straight lines is...
Nice one, I have the 9833 out of my old car waiting to go in the 182 when it arrives, need to get hold of those and an ipod adapter and its ready to go it.

Ultra Microfibre is the softest cloth available. It is perfect for that final polish or wax. Brilliant with carnauba wax because its softness. This cloth...
Megs towels - Thats the towels I use to apply polish when removing swirls by hand.
Best off with foam or microfiber hand pads for normal polishing, wax and sealant applications
