Yes. When its cold it blows blue smoke, which then dies down once its warm.
But when its warm its a cnut to start.
In the last 12 months its had nearly £4000 spent on it. Sadly, the previous owner was some sort of chopper and didn't know anything about them and just used it as a normal car...
This is my business partners car, nothing to do with me!!
Will be a cheap car for someone.

There is a list of when it was HPI'd.... Interesting as somebody HPI'd it 2 days ago. (9th jan 2012)
I'll pm you the certificate as I don't know how to post it up on here.
Ok, here's a question for you.
I spilt about an egg cup full of dirty oil tonight on our nice clean floor. I mopped it up best I could and then sprayed it with brake cleaner, and the floor was like brand new.
Where has the dirt gone? The brake cleaner evaporates, but where's the dirt gone...
^^ Is that the same as electrical contact cleaner?
Scoobynet recomended I used that on my Classic and it worked for about a week. In the end I put the filter in the dishwasher, fitted a new maf and had 3000 trouble free miles! lol.
What car? Because none of that happens on a clio.
On a subaru, its the oil on the cone filters that stick to the hair like wire in the MAF sensor causing tiny particles of dirt to stick, causing it to fcuk up.
I've currently got 3 ST170's and I love them. Compared to the 172/182 I prefer the space, I prefer the noise, I prefer the handling and I much prefer the driving position.
But I agree it needs an extra bit of grunt to warrant the less than average fuel consumption and high road tax.
The last Cat C I got tucked up with couldn't be taxed as the post office wouldn't do it.
They scanned the barcode on the green slip and it came up as logbook invalid.
This is all proper wierd.
Without meaning to sound like a dick, how do you know it cost £17 in fuel?
Was it completely empty, you put £17 in it, drove to Brum and back and it ran out at the end of your driveway??
It was the case though.
Yours was the 182 with 8 7/8 owners wasn't it?
I don't keep stock like that, I trade it on. So I would have sold it to another garage for about £25/2600. To drive to scotland and back for zero profit is stupid.
If it was a car that I was keeping for myself, then I'd...
