Be intrigued to hear how long it lasts ice cold as mine was perfect when bought the car and gave up after six months or so, so kinda reluctant to just gas it again

Going to transfer the whiteline rarb onto the car too this week and then all ready for Cadwell on the 12th
No longer a 1.8, it's pretty heavily modified and running F4R conversion :-)

More progress today, finally got the cambelt and Dephaser job done.
The Dephaser was noisey and cambelt overdue, I'd bought 197 cams while back but circumstances meant wasn't in a position to time and map them. As such decided I'd change the belts and Dephaser and get another year out the car...
The cam sensor oil seal has been leaking for a while, common fault on these engines, the phase 1 is the same and did the track car one last year.
It was annoying me everytime I serviced the car seeing oil all over the cam cover.
So today I replaced the offending seal for a new gen ren one. I...
Any specialist insurer should be able to offer a low mileage discount etc.
Also of the cars are fairly standard, try admiral multicar as they can sometimes come up trumps for more than one vehicle on a single policy with one being the daily and one on reduced mileage. Limited mods allowed though.
