Look at some khumo's.
I bought 4 for my mums proton 'sport' (lol!) and they cost me under £100 fitted. I think it was £98 fitted from memory.
They're alright too!
I wouldn't even make my mind up until i'd seen them.
Its all about maintainence with these cars. So i'd buy whichever had the most paperwork and been looked after better.
I worked at renault for 7 years and nearly every company car I had came with a key card.
I also owned a Clio 200 for 9 months (as the family car!) and not once has a key card 'broken' on me.
Look at the state of them in the pictures! They're battered! WTF are you doing with them??
Cliospares.co.uk mate.
They're on here.
All lower spec clio's came with them so they're easy to come accross.
Relatively east (if a little fiddly) to fit too.
(i'm aiming this at the insureres, not Hawking and einstein of the CS admin...)
Said person text me yesterday (before I dropped my phone in the bath!) and all of us at work cannot believe this is being made difficult.
It should be clear cut and easy to sort. :S
But I *think* that once the insurance declare it written off, that all documentation regarding the car will be invalid.
If you only MOT'd it 2 months ago it should piss through another one so for the sake of £40 just have it done again.
