jack car up, clean up area and inspect for where the leak is 100% coming from. if nothing obvious run up the road and back then check again. if still nothing, get the box oil warm on a longer drive again if your 100% satisfied its that area for the leak then the seal may be unseated or simply...

yes, if you supply the parts then perhaps so, however the OP has just handed an engine over and the builder is supplying the parts, that seems to be the impression I'm getting to supply your own parts shows a level of knowledge above the layman's; and an interest in the process, so knowledge...

b****cks, your saying that its better for someone who has no idea about engines and no interest to look for technical specs and scribble it on a bit of paper to hand to the person they are trusting and PAYING to do that just for them? if you provide a service for people you do exactly that...

as above, no way an engine rebuilder can know what the specs are for every engine he/she rebuilds, that's madness what does surprise me is the blokes lack of willingness to research it himself, asking the customer to do it for him is a joke, the whole reason you pay someone to do it for you is...

so epic mafs says that's 99k on the aftermarket map, and as far as I know engines untouched bar servicing/belts etc. its about to have overhaul on the next 6k interval it 121k, belts, alternator, water pump, dephaser, clutch and gearbox overhaul should be good for another 99k then :)

I've been before few years back in the turbo and pulled 270 odd I think it was that day, and the car did a 12 second pass again at pod not long after so I think their rollers read a little bit pessimistic, so tbh yours is probably making standard if not bit more tommy lad Jacob, in like flint...

I may take the RB up next time, its got an RS tuning map on it I think from back in the day, makavelli may of had it done??
