check inside the airbox, if its full of bits of crap downstream of the filter, its that I had this, emptied the bits of rusty tumble drier tube from previous owners cold air intake that had rusted away and been sucked in and done, noise gone!

don't get hung up on mileage either, look for service history, belt changes and general feel of the car and owner. I bought mine for 2.6k on 103k and it drives and looks better than some 60k ones I tried in the search

ai, 80 odd squid for two new rear shocks and you'll be set for years, imo no point messing about....well unless you want to buy my rear shocks from the cup packed 182 i'm breaking............shameless plug ;)

2.5k will get you a reasonable 182 but not a minter. personally I love the look of the 182, the exhausts do it for me, and the Full Fat is my weapon of choice as I like all the toys and half leather etc. the only improvement from the other specs of 182 is to nick the seats out of the trophy :)

ai don't remove it!! seen a mk1 on a rolling road go up in smoke as a result of no heatshield. less extreme if the cars moving but will easily ruin cables and strip paint/coating from the brake lines
