na, welding cable is equivilent to 4gauge and that takes whopping current
(you can use welding cable if you're feeling pikey)
we have a 110amp circuit breaker next to the battery and it never trips

easy to do, you only have to run the 12V live through the car, a few circuit breakers, couple of connectors, a battery box job done
i think we might move ours to under/behind the passenger seat, i'd suggest using a race battery, as a normal road batt takes up a fair...
