You said the cons of the 182 uses more petrol and your recommending a mk1 V6 and an S2000??? Call me cynical but with the V6 you can kiss anychance of 30mpg+ good-bye and with the s2000 wont be much better, to get the best from any VTEC unit you have to shoe it hard and lets face it, high revs...

Nothing beats an old shagged 1400 cc polo, i think that may be my next car. This guy sounds like a bit of a tosser mate. I owned a VTS before my 172 and, yes it does handle better and the sax was dropped 30mm.

Theres no point in mulling over what your going to get MPG wise mate, if you drive it everywhere below 300rpm then theres a good chance itll stay above 35-37, drive it for what it was built for then it will sit at 31-32. If you want good fuel economy dont buy it, thats not what its for! I...
