Re: mintys 172 turbo
i'm not a massive 2118 fan, but they look good on the berg :)

nowt wrong with putting the toy to bed for the winter, after shakey end of this month I shall probably be doing the same :) sweet dreams little cup, see you in the spring!
look like gold mk4 gti wheels, but not quite
be wrong centre bore if that's the case but can be bored out and fitted if you like them, offset iirc should be about right
Re: mintys 172 turbo
nice, good to see BBPT doing conversions again....well sorry 'engine dynamics' reminds me of the mk1's like mine 8 odd years back :)
I have used R888's in wet and dry and they perform well in both, on track they are great in the wet once upto temp :)
I have a few more track days left in them at the mo but I have a partworn set of RSR's to go on next in the shed and from what I have heard they are an excellent tyre and the...
I have a 172 with engine and box I am killing soon, would let it go for right price, pretty sure only difference is 182 exhaust mani and ecu aint it which you have? bung up the gearbox speedo drive output and your away ;)

Friend of mine has removed the ABS from his clipsort transplant thats in a mark 1 clio
the car has a bias valve so no comments about removing fuse being dangerous yada yada, the cars braking system is fine, its mark 1 spec and works perfectly, its just the mark 2 loom/ecu wants to see ABS that...
Digital SLR, can be had for not much cash now on the bay, I sourced an old Canon (I prefer Canon, others disagree) 350D for £90 in box with kit lens and spares. nowt special but does the job and massively better than any PAS or cameraphone shite ;)
Mad isn't it, I quite like it tbh, parts all still rocking round like little boats on the same sea, going from port to port
my analogies can get a bit weird ;)
15" is recommended for track really, more feel, less unsprung weight and greater/cheap tyre choice. no issues with fitment provided brakes are standard diameter and the offset/pdc etc of the wheel is correct. theres loads of 172/182's on here on 15's, mine included.
never heard that about...
