fred never gives up on anything!!! (i just take my time ;))
the megane RS conversion will work, BUT its all custom work (ie it won't bolt straight in, there's some jiggery pokery to be done)
the megane F4RT engine is a hell of a lot stonger than the normal 172 F4R, plus the box is much much...
LOL
"hi i have electric windows, a sunroof, climate control, metalic paint, badge removal, rear ashtray, privacy glass, automatic, xenons etc etc etc"
my old insurance company had a whinge at me for having non standard tyres fitted to the car!!
remember i'm use to driving on PF97/pagid blue/DS2500 all day, everyday
EBC greens i class as an uprated road pad, better than stock, but no where near a track pad, i put the mintex extreme in the same class
nothing wrong with the EBC green or the mintex, but if you do track days, you'll need...
not the best IMO, i'm comparing them to DS2500's here
they're about the same as EBC greens, i've just done a 130mile test session in the V6, they did well, but i'll stick to the DS2500's for hard driving. The mintex stop well, but sqeual a bit and don't like serious abuse, i didn't fade them...
there's NOTHING wrong with the mk1's, yes in stock form they're not perfect, but sort the suspension and you're laughing!
the plenum sucks beans (plastic special) so bin that for the mk2 version, or put our throttle bodies on there!
the mk1 gearbox is terrible
the mk1 bodywork quality is...
tough one, the mk2 is far from perfect, as i said on the phone i'd seriously think about a mk1 + some toys
drive one first though, as you may not like it, its a bit like marmite
yeah our 182 decat is the only one i know of that has a very very very very very tiny bend in it
i happy to say you'll struggle to beat the quality of our exhaust components (BTB and Orbisoud are the only other companies i've seen that i would regard as good quality)
182's always seem to...
