I had a janspeed on a trophy I had and its slightly raspier than standard but certainly no louder.
I'd 100% definately have another.
Roy Munson did a review of the one he fitted to his 182 and he was also very impressed.
As you asked the question i'm assuming you're not into car cleaning and have no products so i'm going to advise you based on cheap stuff for a quick fix before a sale.
The rubber and plastic trims, use some petrol/white spirit on a rag and wipe over it in one smooth motion. Brings them up...
I agree with the swede.
However, I'm like youandi'm not happy unless my car feels 100%. So get the car to somewhere off here, JMS, BTM, Birchdown etc and get them to look over the car. It may cost you a couple of hours labour but thats about it.
Was the oil up to temperature? The rev limiter is drastically reduced until it is.
And I don't mean the water temp gague reading halfway, it takes longer than that.
I do love your writeups. Its like being there!
Massive shame re the alternator though. I know people will say ''Thats racing'' (As you did) but its such a kick in the c**t, especially as the pair of you are driving so well!!
All the best for silverstone chaps. Hope the next one is the big...
I'd love to find a garage with 15 ramps and get all our cars together. See what we've done differently. We could then develop the ultimate F4r'd mk1! lol.
And you honestly think the russians drive it sensibly when its taken off the boat?? No. Its ragged the f**k out of from day one.
And if you seen the way they're driven on the test track at the factory you'd understand why!! lol.
I stuck with grey, purely for uniqeness. When I ordered my Audi, nobody had a white car. Now every c**t and their dog has one I want something different. (No offence intended)
I would have liked red, but its a s**t to keep it looking spanking. When they're dirty they don't look special...
I just did my car after nearly two years of not even being washed. I washed it, went over it with 3 coats of Autoglym super resin polish and then did 2 coats of Autoglym Extra Gloss protection. (I was recomended that on here...)
And I must say, it looks like new!! And this is a K reg car!
I ordered it just before the summer factory shutdown. So that was 4 weeks of nothing before they actually received my order!
Bloody cheese eating wine drinking lay abouts! lol.
I got a cup so Black roof wasn't an option. Thankfully my mate wraps cars for a living so the roof will be done the same day I get it!
I had a 200 Cup, storm grey, black speedlines. I will add a black roof, HID's and a headunit and door speakers.
I think mines due middle of october. From...
Screw running it in. I'm giving mine death from day one.
Congrats on the new purchase. If it takes half as long as mine I feel sorry for you. It seems like years ago I ordered mine! lol.
