What a vile little man you are.
The dealer has done NOTHING wrong whatsoever. At all. In fact the bloke deserves a medal. If someone bought a car off me and came back and said the tyres were on the limit, i'd laugh. They were on the limit when you looked at it, they were on the limit when...
This isn't going to help but iirc, I hve never seen a 'David' on the forum. That a recent name change?? Seeing as you've been on here longer than I have?!
The only way you will do it (iirc) is to use a permanant live instead of the switched live.
But the downside is, it will always stay on until you turn it off. So if the volumes all the way down and you get out the car and forget to turn it off, you will have a flat battery.
Thats fcuked mate. If you pop that out (Door card off, push it out) it will look just as bad. The metal will be creased.
Bodyshop job i'm afraid. And as its in a c**t of a place, expect a big bill. (New door or lots of filler)

Oooh!!! I''ve just remembered my mums last car...
MX5 import, Ohlins coilovers, Stainless manifold, short shifter, BBS deep dish wheels with stretched tyres, In white and absolutely mint.
I bought it for her for xmas about 5 years ago for £1500 and sold it about 6m ago for £3000. Now thats...
If you heat it up thouroughly, the glue mostly comes off with the vinyl. (I used to be a valeter and had to de-sticker promo vehicles)
But either way, its a s**t job!
My dads had some hideous things, mainly owing to company cars.
But the coolest he had (At the time!!!) were a Orion 1600i Ghia, a Cavalier Sri and a Rover 416 Gti.
He once owned a Mini. Proper old thing, it was so rotten you could see the tarmac from inside the car! HHT91k was the reg...
