Is it wrong that I quite like it???
Don't get me wrong, its not good looking, but it looks a damn sight better in white than it does in blue or red!
Good choice sir!
Martin on here has one. I also had one as a company car when I worked for Renault. 05 plate iirc.
Heres Martins. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=489758&highlight=dci+100
Both cars look lovely, but was he on drugs?? £3k for a W plate 172!!
You paid a sensible price though matey. (Altough looking at that valver, i'd have kept that!)
That RX7 or whatever the fcuk it is, is absolutely awful!!! What would posess someone to buy one of them let alone modify it!
Subaru is the tits mind you!! Looks lovely!
I've advertised loads of my cars on here and all I got was messers.
'Oh, i'm deffinately interested but I have to see if i've got enough money' etc etc.
Champagne taste and lemonade money springs to mind.
Very nice indeed.
Although if you were selling an 18 year old car, why wouldn't you fix the niggly problems? For the sake of £55, he can say 'the car needs nothing'. Not 'the car has a few issues...'
I always use genuine oil filters. Its £7, not £70!
(tbh, I think my Dad is the reason I am a bit anal with oil filters and oil! He was obsessed with changing his oil/filter every six months!)
Spray it all with degreaser, pressure wash the whole thing, use common sense.
(ie avoind going directly on electrics, cover up any open cone filters etc)
There is no need to cover up electrics.
If there was an option for ''if FCS was any good, would you be up for it'' then i'd tick that box.
Everyone I know thats been hasn't bothered going again.
You need to write a spreadsheet! Seriuosly!
How much will your cup cost you over the next two years? insurance, Servicing, tyres, brakes, road tax, unforseen breakdowns etc etc.
Then work out how much the 200 will cost. Payments, one years road tax, one service, insurance difference etc etc...
