I woult try for the suspension and the exhaust but I'd think they'd refuse both claims.
Exhaust are a common failing popular is the aftermarket stuff as replacment.
Top mounts easy to change and not to pricy.
New pads are £55 from Yozzasport and pads well standard Renault are £40 or so going...
The 1.2 is easy smalle engine the 172 is a bigger engine by miles its a paint to do there no space.
Cambelt kit also included tentioners which need to be done toherwsie that can fail and so you've got to stip it all down to chnage them so no pont trying to save a few quid just swopping belts...
I wouldn't take a 172/182 for a cambelt to be done at any gaage loads of places have messed up i te past even good garages if they havn't done it before and don't have the Renault tools forget it.
Won't do anything its a waste of time.
BenR did some long winded explanation and I don't belive it works from mwhat I've seen. Do you honestly thing if it worked Renault wouldn't fit it as standard?
Chnage the sensor round the ignition barrel they commonly fail sounds like this is the problem if the lights not going off then the imobiliser not swithed off which usually points to the key pickup round the key fob being bust there easy to replace and not to pricy.
Was just a joke. If you print the times people are bound to have excuses etc not worth starting it (not saying people who atteneded would but others might so not worth even opening the can of potential worms)
Nothing sad with the Excel sheet you should see the stuff I graph for my car at work.
If you cannot afford them them my opinion is not to change infact unless you change springs and dampers as well I woulnd't bother at all but thats my personal preference.
Stock suspensions not bad it maybe rolly but thats not necessarily bad.
Apex I'd say for cheaper.
62k in 3.5years which is what 1.5k a month .
I did something like 26k in my first year but thankfully about 7k of them were in other Clio when mine was being fixed you see having an unreliabel/crased car has some advantage mine be near 72k if it were a relaible car.
Servicing rules/time/whats done etc (172/182)

I'd chnage it at 60k as you've no warently to fall back on.
PM me your email address I'll send you the file on how to do the cambelt change.
WOn't givbe 1 hp gains might help reduce lag (but you'll never be able to tell) also unless its getting cold air forget it. It will make some noise though if you like that thats your choice.
No fuel economy gains unless you include the fact the extra noise may may make you drive easier.
Dead easy to chnage pads people on here will help you if you want.
Best give a clue where about you are.
The stop light alone is rare can mean low on oil.
