They are nice. I sat in number 10 at goodwood festival of speed on sunday. Seats are so nice, and the trophy sticker down the side really sets it off. Not 100% on the colour though.
Would rather step out of a 182. The mondeo just hasnt got the wow factor the 182 has. Yes the 182 is smaller, so has less road presence, but then its a hatch, supposed to be small. As i said, if you want it for a family, go for the mondeo, is easily one of the best family/sports cars about for...
The 182 has the looks over a mondeo. Easily. The ST220 are very good cars. But you cant really compare a 182 to it. Thats more megan 225 teritory surely. If you want and amazing hot hatch go for the 182, if you want a fast family car go for the ST220.
Got no complaints with my 1.6. had it for 5 months now. Is plenty quick enough. Unfortunatly on here it always gets marked as slow due to the 182/172 snobbery ;). But i certainly have no complaints. Powerful enough for the motorway, pulls past traffic easily and quick enough to scare you every...
No black is good. Cant go wrong with that. Always looks good. Sure your love it mate. Plus get the joy of how rare they are. Only ever seen one other 1.6 on the road where i live.
They look really good actually. Had the old style on my 1.2, then got the digital on my 1.6. Get loads of comments from mates saying how cool it looks. New dials as a whole are better i think. totally re-done them. Actually get a red line, not a stupid slightly thicker line!!!
Yeah mate but their not doing that are they. They are actually fixing thme up properly, not filler jobs. Fair enough if some one did that it is certainly not fair, but if the car is in perfect working order, and repaired to a good standard, cant see the issue.
Im in exactly the same frame of mind chris. I to am struggling to decided. Think im going to mod the 1.6 up with some enigne mods, get it to 130-140Bhp. But then the insurance will be more, and when i come to sell it mods will be worthless. Or get a 182, or a seat ibiza cupra 180. But i enjoy...
As said, you cant compare the 1.6 to a 182 kick wise. lol. Of course your not going to feel any kick after being in one. lol. Well for everyday driving i have no complaints about the power of the 1.6. Never been in any situations where ive felt its underpowered. Over taking in the 1.2 was not to...
I had a 1.2 16v for a year and just got my 1.6 16v. Is a big step up. Had a 1.1 R5 before that and loving the speed of the 1.6 16v. Wouldnt Bother changing from a 1.4 to a 1.6. Not really worth it as the new 1.4 is good for a 1.4, more bhp than a vtr. But the 1.6 has got more torque, sec quicker...
Ive had 2 clios and i buy them because everytime i drive it i alwas get out of it with a massive smile, because they are so much fun to drive, and it just suits the way i like to drive. Love having to keep the revs up to get the best out of it. Never been back to the dealer for any problems, or...
Lol. Cheers Loony. What 8hrs of working in a supermarket does to you. Brain just gets full of random discussions, sure its just self defense to stop itself from dieing or bordem!!! lol.
Lol. Was just wondering actually. No actual point. Why does there need to be? But what i was thinking was that if the modded 160bhp engine had better power distribution through the ecu remap, and could breath better due to a new full exhaust system then it would be faster.
Ok. Sorry dont think im quiet getting my point across. 160bhp is just a random figure. What im tryimg to say is if 2 identical cars, with everything the same except that one started with 120bhp then got modded up to 160bhp raced the other car that started with 160bhp standard, which would win...
Just using it as an example. Not talking about doing it, just wondering if a modded 160bhp (for example) would be faster than a standard, from the manufacturer 160 bhp.
