Ok what if i get a £10k loan for 3years at £302 a month. Which i can do easily. Then pay of my 1.6 and the negative equity i already owe. Then with the remaining £5k by a 172? Be clear by the time i leave uni. Have no outstanding debs and have a clean slate to go for a 192.

Yeah edde see what you mean. What i might do then is wait then and clear the 1.6 off. Then get the 192. Will be out of uni by then and when i get my proper job and have settled down get the 192.

Right now im paying £258 on my 1.6, plus £120 insurance. That £750 is entirely dipsoable income. Will be at uni for another 3yrs, and certainly no reason why ill be moving out. So financial situation wont change. No reason to leave sainsburys. And if i do that sort of job is easily aquired.

The SERV light shouldnt come on as well as the oil light. Sounds lke something else is wrong to me. Have you checked the oil level?

For both of my new clios i have had follow up calls and accident packs. Never really had any problems. Occasionally you have to chase them a bit. But other than that been perfectly happy with the service i recieved buying my clios.

Well several of my friends have 2ltrs and say its made no difference. Will try it on my 182 when i get it in 3 months, but personally im yet to be convinced.

To be honest mate nnormal 95-96ron stuff is fine. Some will say they find there car runs better on it, but ive tried both and really cant say i notice a difference.

Yeah i have it on mine. Is called Ottoman blue. Was a megane colour, but they dropped it out on the non rs clios this year. Is just slightly dark than the mondial blue. Love it.

Ok. But still in real world times 0.9 of a second isnt really that much. But then as already said the astra isnt really in the 182s class, surely that would be the megane 225. The corsa vxr is the 182s true competition. And i know which one id rather have.

Sorry if im being stupid here, but the 182 has a 0-60 time of 6.6 secs, and the vxr has a 0-60 time of 6.2. So thats 0.4 of a second. Id hardly call that a large difference, and for 7k. 0.4secs for 7k..... Surely you could use some of that saved 7k to get some performance driving lessons, and...
