gettin a 172 bumper put on my 1.4 phase 2 mark 1 clio. was told that you needed to get new wings aswell. looking at the pic below you dont, you only need to get new wings if you want to put the 172 side skirts on. can some1 clear this up please. top picture shows a 172 and the bottom one...

if i read that and didnt know about IK id order and expect around 10bhp. my mates got a K&N induction kit on his mark 1 1.4 which sits right on top the engine. he is under the impression that it gives loadsa of hp more. i told him hes likely to be loosing hp as its just suckin in hot air...

the the 1.4 16v and the rsi r exactly the same on the front. and ull also need 172 side skirts cus the new wings r cut away at an angle at the bottom to accomodate them.

have done and its really pissing me off!!! the rubber necking is secure as nething round the inlet manifold. the rest of the kit is secure. the breather filter is tight on. wen i have the old airbox on its fine, i even took the breather pipe out of the airbox and put the new breather...

u can get universal filters i believe so at a gues if u got a relocation pipe u could fir wot filter u liked on the end so long as it would fit the end of the pipe

i own a 1.4 16v mark 2 phase 1. they are 98 bhp as standard which is more than a VTR. they are group 5 insurance. get an 1.4 16 si and u get sports seats air con very nice :D

you want to be careful with an oper filter like the px because if its put near the engine it will more than likely just suck in warm air which will actually cause you to loose power. so id go for a closed ik like the viper. do ktec do a ramcharger ik for a 1.2? i dont think they do thats wot...

thats just the relocation piping you dont get the induction kit with it, you have to buy that seperately
