my powerfow dealers in leicester a top!
really helpful great quality of work!
even put my cat back on for me free of charge for my mot!
i cant fault them !
where as i can fault the quality of service ive got from k tec
k tec are an option.
only ever used them for my ramcharger induction kit, which arrived last friday took 5 weeks to arrive and wen it did didnt come with the breather filter required:S
not saying there no good just saying what i have experienced with them
go to somewhere like halfords theyll be ablle to check what manufactuers make back boxes for your car,
but wen i had a mark 1 1,4 the choice wasnt great so i went for a peco exhaust, was ok, but the powerflow one sounds better and ive got the exact tip i wanted.
errrm they have loads of fitting places all over the country,
try their website powerflow.co.uk, i think its that if not try google, they should have a list of approved fitters
you take it to one of thier places and they fit it for u while you wait
POWERFLOW
they make the back box to fit you car and you choose which ever tail pipe you want.
you could get a peco one but ull be limited to a choice of about 2 tail pipes.
ive got a full powerflow system ,de catted and it sounds mental
ok,
just had a thort that it could of bin sumthing.
theres sumthing called a vacuum pipe that goes into the inlet manifold. i had to remove this in order to make room to get the old air box out, which was a b*tch to get out!
have disconnected it and started my engine and sure enuf the...
so thats what wud cause it to over rev then?
or what would cus it over rev that ive bin changing?
because as soon as i put the old air box back on it stop doing it.
right ok then for the time being im going to stick withjust springs then and wen finances enable me, or wen my original shocks become too harsh i will switch to coilovers.
cheers
wot would cause that then??
theres a small electiracl plug that goes into the original air box.
but the instructions say just take this out and cable tie it out the way sumwhere.
im wondering if this is causing the problem?
going to lower my mark2 clio 60mm.
now do i just spend around £90 on springs, if so recommendations on which ones r good n which rnt.
or do i pay over £200 for new dampners and springs? again if so which kit.
please dont anyone mention coil overs as im not that rich lol
cheers tom
yes its a breather pipe
would this having nothing on it cause the engine to rev so highly at stand still?
am going to get onto k tec tomoro because it says that if you need it will be in the kit
no it goes into the actual airbox it has nothing to do witht he throttle body or manifold
theres a breaher pipe that comes of the maifold but that is conencted up to the new IK via a piping that comes with the kit
it goes into the old air box but thers no way for it to into the new IK.
it does mention in the fitting instructions that on some models you need to put on a breather filter. but it also says that is this is needed it is included in the kit!?!
Just spent the last couple of hours fitting my new Ramcharger induction kit from k tec racing.
it is going on my mark 2 phase 1 clio.
got the old air box out evetually!
and fiited up the new kit perfectly as per instructions.
turned my car on and it was idleing @ about 3000rpm and was...
mate ive got a 1.4 16v si
very nice cars,
so far ive had a full exhaust de-catted, got it from powerflow they custom make them to fit your car, sounds wicked, got a ramcharger induction kit from ktec racing, fitted out a 12" vibe sub and amp, audio bahn components with a kenwood amp running...
gona piggy back this post to save clogging up the forum with sh*t and ask how much i should be paying to fit 4 new lowering springs to a mark 2 clio.
have seen the post on DIY but no way confident enough to do it!
go to a powerflow place, they make the exhaust for your car,
its stainless steel and you can choose you tip.
i can only speek very highly of the service i got from them.
im thinking the same , am gona drop it 60mm but its whether i get 15s or 16s/
ive got a 1.4 16v with 14" on at the mo will 15/ 16s decrease performance from stand still alot?
definitely not a cherry bomb exhaust mate there cheap, tacky and sh*t.
i had a peco powermaster on my old clio sounded ok.
got a full de catted powerflow system on my new 1.4 16v sounds mint.
worth spending a bit more on a better exhaust
what annoyed me slightly is they took the money out of my account on day 1!! and i wasnt a CS member wen i ordered , but while waiting i have become a member but they wont give me my 5% discount which i think is a bit tight!
