Re: iPhone Software 3.0 Discussion (New hardware Expected 9/6/2009) If you change contract with o2 all they do is swap your existing number over to the new tariff and begin a new 18 month term. Far easier and quicker than if transferring from another network and no credit check etc required.

Spec a laptop with 4GB RAM and a good processor and you'll be fine.

Buy a Dell from the outlet store and get a great bargain.

The skins are located in the Settings/Appearance options. You'll more than likely have to direct XBMC directly to the iTunes music folder before you can use it. I only use XBMC for TV/Movie playback as the ATV itself is perfect for music.

Re: iPhone Software 3.0 Discussion (New hardware Expected 9/6/2009) Don't install the new iTunes beta if you intend to use a modfied carrier file for mms and tethering, Apple have now blocked you from doing so.

Adding external drives is a ball ache and a half. You have to know the IP address you are connecting to and input that with the full address of the drive. Be sure and have SMB activated on the Mac if you intend to share media from there. example: smb://10.0.1.1/External Drive Name/Folder Name...

Are you using a Mac or PC? You need to create a USB patchstick in order to install XBMC onto the Apple TV

More ex-NTL customers seem to have problems than those who were with Telewest. I'm pretty happy with my VM service. Actually I'm very happy as they improved my monthly discount today.

I just installed Aeon and it's a bit slow, XBMC has other skins which work better and still look great.

I'm using XBMC and Boxee on my Apple TV and it is excellent.

So far I'm impressed with the colour capture of this camera, far better than what I was using.

Had a brief look at the camera today and am very impressed with it, a big improvement from my previous compact camera which was a Canon Ixus v3.

Camera Box have some very good prices but are currently out of stock, would have saved myself £16 otherwise on a similar bundle deal. I'll be needing another 1 or 2 8GB class 6 cards so will have a look at 7dayshop.

I've ordered my TZ7 this morning complete with a case and 8gb SDHC Class 6 card for £328 delivered. Should get it tomorrow.

Chances are your existing wifi card may not be supported within OS X, search Insanelymac for a possible answer.
