Re: iPhone Software 3.0 Discussion (New hardware Expected 9/6/2009)
No sign of it yet, should know before midnight as it was released at 11pm UK time two weeks ago.
Sony has confirmed details about the multiplayer options in forthcoming adventure sequel Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.
Currently in development by Naughty Dog, the game will offer five versus five competitive online multiplayer, as well as three-player cooperative action.
Modes available include...
A iPhone PAYG sim which comes with a iPhone includes all of your browsing and wifi access for the first year so you would not need a bolt-on during that time. The ebay seller appears to be selling the sim card minus the iPhone.
Yeah unlimited 3G so not bad at all. You can always add the web & wifi payg bolt-on instead.
£7.50 per month for web, £10 per month for web and wifi access.

It's possible but it does depend on the hardware you are using. I installed it onto tow Dell laptops.

A2DP works in the 3.0 Beta alongside BT internet tethering but I don't know if they'll open it up much more than that.
I think the iPhone will have some minor revisions during July but I doubt it'll be a huge leap. Having said...

Part of my reasoning for buying this camera will be to use the movie mode which means I'm probably better off buying the TZ7. I currently do not own a camcorder and hopefully the movie mode is of a good standard.
You cannot read the agreement until you have bought and opened the packaging. The legality of these agreements has been questioned often. Besides Apple's own servers happily registered my Mini 9 install and provided all updates via the inbuilt Software Update option.
Install was simple for the Mini 9 as it used my retail Leopard disc. Insert a boot disk, swap it for the Leopard disc and it installs like any Mac would. No messing around required. The complete opposite to the ball ache I had installing OS X onto the Dell 1525. I'm only running OS X on the Mini...
The double finger scrolling works on the Mini 9 with OS X, no need to activate the vertical/horizontal scrollbars. Pinch and swipe is not important to me, the scrolling was something I missed from my Leopard install on the Inspiron 1525.
Forget my earlier comment regarding sleep not working, I had not realised I needed to disable usb bios legacy support on completion of my install. Sleep is now working.
I'm not a huge Ubuntu fan and owning a iMac at home makes Leopard the ideal choice. I was toying with the idea of installing Windows 7, it's a MS OS that I do actually like.
