My dad's did this when he first got it, took me a while to figure out but it turned out that it was the email.
The outgoing (smtp) settings were incorrect so it was constantly trying to send the email and failing, and thus getting very warm at the back and the battery was going down within a...
I prefer iPhones because it is an all in one piece of kit, it is my:
- Phone
- Email device
- Diary (can BB's sync multiple google calendars? Nope just iPhones!)
- Golf GPS Device (the nearest on the market is £300 and no where near as detailed)
- mobile TV
- Control of my Media PC (using win...
I see none of you surprised people have ever used Sky Player before then!
Of course they are going to charge you, don't you think it would be a bit ridiculous for xbox owners to have the opportunity to watch sky in another room for free but none xbox owners would have to pay £10/m for...
It's all kicking off now on twitter!
Blackra1n is about to be released within the hour and now Appuloha1l will be too, they're both trying to beat each other to the top of the trending list in twitter and currently Geohot (#blackra1n) is kicking Appuloha1ls arse lol.
Quite funny really...
My brother in law has just bought the HTC Touch Pro 2 (basically same as the HD) and yes the screen is fantastic but it just doesn't get anywhere near my iPhone 3GS. I've had 2 HTCs myself, the Touch Cruise and the Diamond, none of these have been comparable to iPhone!
This is no joke - my...
Lol you actually do not know what you are talking about with regards to HDMI leads. You really don't. A £1 ebay 1m HDMI lead will give exactly the same picture as a £30 one. At distances up to around 15m the price of cable doesn't* matter.
I have a £25 15m HDMI cable which I purchased on ebay...
Awesome Tom! Thanks for the link, bad news for me though:
The iPhone 3GS is now supported in PwnageTool 3.1.3, assuming the phone was pwned at 3.0 or 3.0.1 - PwnageTool does not support the 3GS out of the box. If your iPhone 3GS has 3.1 preinstalled and is not Pwned then there is no tested...
Re: O2 Forever ?
Well I've always been with O2 and are now looking to buy an iPhone this week, but I'm wondering whether to hold off and see what orange have to offer!
I have the HTC Touch Diamond. It is my second HTC phone and to be honest I'm completely sick of Windows phones. In principle they are great but their clunky, slow and problematic OS's become ridiculously tedious!
Thanks for that reply hoff, I guess that has just clarified it for me, I do a hell of a lot of surfing on my current HTC so going by what you have said the GS is a must I guess! I was hoping I could save myself £90 lol cos money is a bit tight but never mind!
Hey guys,
I am getting an iPhone in 2 weeks time and can't wait! Question is, is the 3GS really worth the extra £90? I mean from what I can gather once you have a jailbroken 3G the only difference really is that its quicker?
£90 just to load up Apps a couple of seconds quicker doesn't...
Open up a support ticket on your Plusnet control panel, that's what I did when I had a small problem and they were really quick to react and even rang me up an hour later to ask if everything was ok because I hadn't replied to them!
I'm with greeny, plusnet are the best ISP I have been with and...
Hmm, that makes me think that it must be worse in certain areas. I suppose it would depend on how populated the area is and how many sky installers there are for that area!
