You know what Rasclart? I've had a an idea and I think it might be because our lines have pretty poor attenuation and LNR, I have experienced routers in the past that dont perform well in these situation.
Either that or as you said possibly faulty, and it doesn't matter now :D
One other thing I forgot to mention which did my tree in. When transferring files over LAN between 2 computers it killed the internet connection for every completely.
How s**t is that?
Ever since we had BT business broadband installed at our business 2 years ago I have never been happy with the performance. Download speeds have been fine, usually around 300-400k/s at any time through the day but loading up web pages has been a nightmare since day dot.
Pages timing out...
Not true at all! Many people have Amstrads/Pace/Thompson and they are faultless. Just some of the Thompsons had PSU issues but they have seen all resolved now.
In fact, I had a Samsung and it kept crashing all the time (faulty box) and they replaced it with an Amstrad and it has been faultless...
Re: So The f**king PS3 Packed In!!!!!
This did make me LOL.
Can you have "party chat" on the ps3? If not then that is a massive fail because it's all me and my mates use on 360.
I've not used PSN in years but my mate who has had a 360 for ages and has just added a PS3 to his collection said to me and I quote "the online chatting and stuff is crap".
The best thing to do is to try and swap your GTX for an equivalent ATi graphics card because the ATi card will pass sound over the HDMI as well as video.
Other than that as Mark One says your TV will only accept sound over HDMI is the audio is from HDMI.
Either that or buy a surround system...
Re: iPhone "must have" apps?
myCaddie Pro is good but if you have a jailbroken iPhone or you fancy spending £17.99 Golfshot Pro GPS is even better. By far the best golf GPS application I've ever seen!
I had the same problem when I was with O2 on our non-LLU exchange. Since then I have changed to eclipse which were much better and I am now on Plusnet's Pro package which is FAR better.
Even though they are all going through BT's IPStream Eclipse and Plusnet were much much better.

Hello!
My brother in law owns a small security installation firm and if he is ever installing in homes or small businesses he gets me to come and open up ports on the router so that cameras can be viewed on the property from the WAN. Normally this is a pretty simple operation in which there...
Ok so let's say I put the Java code in the <HEAD> section as well as the Div ID bit, like this:
<HEAD><script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="fadeslideshow.js">...
I can input the JS Code in the "Embed Code" bit which is essentially just in the <HEAD> on each page so not a problem. I would assume the HTML would go in the "Global Header" container and the CSS would go in the CSS editor.
The bit I don't understand is can I change the name of the "#gallery"...
Thanks for the info Conneh, I just have a couple of questions. It would be easier for me to do this if I could edit the actual source code of the pages but I can't, it's through a contained manager.
Where would I put what?
<HEAD>
Global Header
CSS
Page itself
Hey guys,
I'm looking to enhance my website by having scrolling pictures which fade in and out through a series of say 4 or 5 pictures. Here is the website as it stands:
http://www.burstwickcountrygolf.co.uk/
Now this website is maintained and improved by myself, but done using a web...
It's not arcady its just little changes which have made the game not the same as 4 or 5. I remember this time last year everyong saying COD5 wasn't different enough from COD4 and banging on about it just being "COD4.5". Now there are changes, people b**ch again lol. It's better, simples!
One MAJOR flaw with the PS3's controller, which is that my thumbs slip off the analog sticks like so:
I have played both consoles EXTENSIVELY and used to be a proper Sony fanboi, now I realise that whilst the PS3 is still an awesome machine (bluray, wireless, etc) the xbox is far better for...
