Is it the NTSC-J version you have?

It's not been 100% confirmed as been region free yet but the general opinion is that it will be. At £25 delivered it's a good price to buy at.

The core 2 duo Mac's are very good :) Make sure and get minimum of 2gb ram.

Admittedly I'm sure that would help greatly. It's a PC I use all day everyday at work so I'm not totally against them but for home use I prefer OSX.

I wasn't talking of crashing machines, just that I find Windows to be slow and clunky on most PC's I've used or owned.

That's pretty much the spec of my iMac and I love it :) Far better than the PC's I'd previously owned and those I use at work. Yes you can get a good PC for the same cash but it's still ruined by Vista or XP. If you really needed either of those OS then they run perfectly on a iMac anyway.

Reading initial reactions suggests that this is not a problem. Will see for myself tonight.

Nice phone but it's a bit on the large side.

Works perfectly for my needs. I use VLC and watch all my downloaded programmes.

It's been available since release, I use Linux.

I may try it eventually but on reading the list of features nothing really appealed to me as something I must have.

I have web space of my own so most of the .mac options are not required. Considering the yearly cost you'd be better off purchasing your own web space rather than purchase .mac Try the 60 day trial and see what you think.

I've never even used my .mac free trial yet.

My useage will be fairly similar to Roy so it'll not really bother me. All I need now is for my replacement modem to arrive and I'm ready to try out my new 20mb connection. I think I need to download over 3gb during peak times before they will limit my speed.

I need a new modem so have ordered one from them for free today :) I think my area has been upgraded but from the list it's hard to tell for sure.

10mb connection here and 99% of the time it's perfect.

I'm impressed with Adium, nice having MSN and Yahoo logged into the one app.

I downloaded Adium and installed it, so far so good. It's asked if I wish to use Growl, do I? :) £90 for the 2gb chip, it was £200 two months ago when I bought my upgrade.

If a 2gb chip falls to a nice and cheap price then I'll buy one and increase my iMac RAM to 3gb :)

I ditched Fetch several weeks ago for Transmit, it's a far superior FTP program with a more friendly UI.

I've never heard of Adium, must go check what it is :)
